Kenneth Rodriguez

I joined O8 in 2015 after getting my start in remote work the year before. From day one, I’ve been passionate about optimizing how our distributed team works and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Since then, I’ve been managing operations, refining internal processes, and helping create an environment where the team can do their best work. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience in running a remote-first company, fostering collaboration, and building systems that support both our team and the work we deliver to clients.

I hold a degree in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman. I was initially on the path to law school but discovered early on that working remotely offered greater flexibility and long-term potential.

Currently, I help drive automation initiatives at O8 and explore different ways to improve efficiency through a variety of digital and AI-powered tools. The goal is to streamline how we work and eventually apply the same improvements to the work we do for clients.

In between, I explored entrepreneurship. My main focus was in the domain name space, but I also experimented with a few other online ventures. That experience gave me the opportunity to work with seasoned professionals and gain broader insight into the digital business landscape.

Outside of work, I’m curious about the universe and the deep sea, enjoy reading up on obscure historical events, and make sure my outdoor cats have the food and care they need so they can accomplish their daily goals of sleeping, scratching, and looking cute.
